His interest in performance began in childhood, where he would entertain others with impressions of characters from film and television. This early passion led him to study radio at Columbia College Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During this time, he received mentorship from professional voiceover instructors, which helped him refine his skills and prepare for a career in voice acting.

Marnocha's career began to take shape online in 2006 when he started posting self-produced content and experimenting with character voices on YouTube under the handle LordJazor. These early uploads showcased his talent and helped him build recognition within online animation communities.
