Description
Dreyfus leads the Holy Knights of Liones, initially distinguished by long brown hair and green armor, later adopting a shorter cut after profound personal change. His journey encompasses possession, redemption, and retirement.

Born into Liones royalty, he is the younger half-brother of Zaratras and father to Griamore. Early in his Holy Knight career, Dreyfus confided in friend Hendrickson, expressing concern over King Bartra's pacifism regarding the prophesied Holy War. Investigating Danafor's ruins 21 years prior, the weakened demon Fraudrin, injured by Meliodas, attempted possession. Dreyfus resisted, prompting Fraudrin to target Hendrickson. To save his friend, Dreyfus surrendered his body, allowing possession. Trapped within, his true consciousness remained helpless as Fraudrin used his form to murder Zaratras and frame the Seven Deadly Sins.

Commanding forces during the Holy Knights' regime, Dreyfus (under Fraudrin) acted ruthlessly, enslaving citizens for military preparation and brutally suppressing threats like Diane and Guila. He displayed deep grief over Griamore's reported death. Suspecting Hendrickson's demon blood experiments, he confronted him but agreed to a temporary truce against the Seven Deadly Sins. In combat, he proved formidable, defeating Diane and resisting Gowther's Nightmare Teller – a mental assault forcing him to relive Zaratras's murder and his own suppressed envy. His "Break" magic unleashed destructive shockwaves, while Fraudrin's possession granted "Full Size," enabling transformation into a giant. His standard power level was 3,000 (Magic: 1,000; Strength: 1,000; Spirit: 1,000).

Purified by Zaratras's spirit during the Holy War, Dreyfus was separated from Fraudrin and regained control. Though pardoned, guilt led him to relinquish leadership, serving as a regular knight. He protected Princess Margaret during her travels and later trained new recruits as a sword instructor. Inheriting Fraudrin's magic, he employed "Full Size" against Arthur Pendragon's forces in *Four Knights of the Apocalypse*, though age-related back pain hindered his mobility.

Dreyfus's relationships were complex: deep remorse over Zaratras; protective love for Griamore; lifelong camaraderie-turned-conflict with Hendrickson; and reluctant respect for Meliodas. Retired, he assisted at Hendrickson's clinic and continued swordsmanship instruction, embodying his redemption and commitment to atonement.
