Haru, a Force-sensitive human woman, resides in Meevai Village on Keelia during the tumultuous era after the Clone Wars. As the village chief’s granddaughter and sister to Saku, she steps forward alongside her betrothed, Asu, to surrender themselves as substitutes when the raider Lord Izuma demands her grandfather as collateral to avert violence. Their hastily arranged wedding ceremony, held the night before their departure, symbolizes their vow to shield their community.

During the exchange, Saku orchestrates an ambush against Izuma’s forces, but the scheme unravels, culminating in Saku’s near-execution. The crisis halts when F—a former Jedi Padawan—intervenes, severing her braid to unveil her Jedi identity and clash with Izuma’s troops. Meanwhile, F’s ally Valco sabotages Izuma’s starship, crippling his battle droids. Amid the chaos, Izuma seizes Haru as a hostage but is swiftly subdued by F, securing the village’s survival.

In the aftermath, Haru joins her people in thanking F, her choices underscoring her dedication to communal safety over personal peril. Her resolve to defend her family and homeland remains central to her story.
