Description
Zorori is a yellow anthropomorphic fox who typically wears a straw hat, a blue kimono, a striped cape, and forest green pants. His attire also sometimes features a black hat, a black eye mask, a different cape, blue tights marked with "ZZ" on the chest, a golden belt shaped like a fox head, and red boots. He frequently employs disguises, often keeping the eye mask as part of his costume.

His primary motivation is to fulfill his deceased mother's final wish for him to become the ultimate prankster genius, marry a beautiful woman, and build a large castle. He holds his mother's memory in deep regard, with her birthday bringing him significant sadness. His father, an airplane pilot with a passion for flying, left the family during Zorori's childhood.

Zorori exhibits remarkable intelligence and cunning, which aid him in navigating dangerous situations. He is skilled in constructing mechas and various machines. His personality is complex; he is cheerful and enjoys singing and traveling, but can also be childish and arrogant, often referring to himself with the rude pronoun "oresama" and adding the honorific "sama" to his own name. He typically presents himself as selfish, mischievous, and untrustworthy, refusing quests unless there is a benefit for him. Yet his actions often reveal an underlying generous and kind nature, as his pranks frequently backfire and inadvertently help others. When performing good deeds intentionally, he often behaves as if he has a fever.

Zorori begins his journey to fulfill his mother's wish. His first major destination is Levanna Kingdom, where he meets the twin boars Ishishi and Noshishi. After a failed plan to obtain a castle and a bride, partly due to the boars' incompetence, they propose becoming his prank apprentices. Zorori initially refuses, but a subsequent adventure fosters a bond of friendship, leading him to accept them as followers. They travel together and experience numerous bizarre adventures.

In one such adventure, Zorori, along with Ishishi and Noshishi, receives a letter from a dinosaur mother inviting them to see her soon-to-hatch eggs on a legendary dinosaur island. A typhoon strikes the island, causing the eggs to go missing. Zorori takes on the quest to find and return the eggs safely to their families.

His name is derived from the Spanish word "zorro," meaning "fox," and is also a reference to the legendary hero Zorro, whose costume resembles Zorori's outfit.
