Description
Zorori is a yellow-furred fox with black eyes. He typically wears a straw hat, blue kimono, striped cape, and green pants. For action, he adopts a distinct outfit: a black hat resembling Tuxedo Mask's, a Swiper-like black eye mask, a black-and-red cape, blue tights marked "ZZ" on the chest, a fox-head-shaped golden belt, and red boots. His disguises often retain the eye mask as a consistent feature.

His core goals—becoming the "King of Pranks," building a castle, and marrying a beautiful bride—originate from a promise to his deceased mother, Zororeene, who passed away during his coming-of-age ceremony. His father, Zorondo Ron, a treasure hunter and biplane pilot, abandoned the family when Zorori was young to pursue flying. Zorondo occasionally reappears in a signature red biplane to assist Zorori in critical situations.

Outwardly arrogant and self-serving, Zorori refers to himself with the rude Japanese pronoun "Oresama" and often claims disinterest in altruism unless it benefits him. Despite this facade, he consistently displays underlying kindness and generosity, especially when family bonds are threatened. He aids others in reuniting families, even at personal cost, and exhibits fierce loyalty to his mother's memory, becoming visibly emotional on her birthday. His intelligence and cunning enable him to design intricate mechas and machines, skills used in elaborate pranks or survival scenarios.

He travels with twin boar apprentices, Ishishi and Noshishi, who became his followers after initial encounters in the Levanna Kingdom. Their dynamic evolved from teacher-student to genuine camaraderie, with Zorori reluctantly accepting their companionship after joint adventures solidified their bond.

His character development reveals recurring patterns:
- His pranks frequently backfire or inadvertently help their targets, highlighting the disconnect between his self-proclaimed villainy and inherent heroism.
- Romantic pursuits (e.g., Princess Elzie, Rose) typically result in unrequited love or comedic failure, though he occasionally attracts admirers like an alien princess, whom he rejects.
- External challenges, such as rivalries with inventor Professor Gaon or encounters with antagonists like Duke Bururu, test his principles. These confrontations force him to prioritize helping others over personal gain, particularly when families or communities are endangered.
- His mechanical ingenuity proves pivotal in resolving crises, including thwarting alien invasions or orchestrating large-scale rescues, further underscoring his latent heroism.
