Description
Yuki Mori serves as an Earth Federation Cosmo Force officer. Born around 2179 to Japanese undersecretary for foreign affairs Naoyuki Mori, her childhood was defined when the Great Garmillas War erupted in 2191 during her eleventh year. Enlisting in the United Nations Cosmo Force on April 1, 2198, she joined the Far-East District Staff Office’s Strategic Department 9th Section and became integral to Program Yamato. As an aide to Princess Yurisha of Iscandar—a figure she strikingly resembled and befriended—she received a holographic message capsule from Queen Stasha through Yurisha.

In May 2198, a suspected terrorist bombing caused a car crash involving Mori and Yurisha in an Earth underground city. Both survived, but Mori suffered amnesia erasing all pre-attack memories. Orphaned, she entered the guardianship of Admiral Ryu Hijikata, addressing him as "Uncle Hijikata," and continued at the 9th Section alongside Hijikata, Chief Administrator Heikuro Todo, and Admiral Juzo Okita. Outside duty, she taught young children.

During Operation M, Mori monitored Princess Sasha Iscandar’s approach from headquarters. Later appointed operations officer and radar operator for Yamato’s Iscandar mission, she managed electronics and communications, including the crew’s solar-system departure ceremony. Her initial hostility toward tactics officer Susumu Kodai shifted to empathy and romance after joint missions—notably an Enceladus rescue where he saved her from Garmillas forces. Their bond deepened through shared confidences about wartime losses at the solar system’s edge.

By 2202, as a lieutenant commander engaged to Kodai, her memories remained confined to four years post-accident. Barred from Yamato’s Telezart voyage for failing to receive Teresa’s message, she stowed away. On Planet Stravase, she offered her life to spare Kodai a "devil’s choice," proving her loyalty.

Promoted to captain of the supply carrier Asuka in 2205, she minimized allied losses during the Iscandar Incident using barrier projectiles and Wave-Motion resonance waves, gaining international recognition. Dismissed after the 65th Escort Squadron’s reorganization, she served as an Earth Defense Force Headquarters staff officer by 2207. There, she uncovered hidden Dezarium conflict agendas and executed "Operation DAD" under Todo’s orders during Earth’s invasion. Her relationship with Kodai strained, leading to wartime separation.

Captured by Dezarium intelligence officer Alphon, she retained relative freedom, gathering intelligence while believing in Kodai and Yamato’s survival. Learning from Alphon that Kodai lived under threat, she attempted to assassinate Alphon during a mental transfer.

Regarding "The Bolar Wars" timeframe, no concrete information exists about her specific activities or character development.
