Palmon is a Vegetation Digimon and partner to Mimi Tachikawa. Her evolution begins as the Fresh-level Yuramon, hatching from Mimi's Digi-Egg on File Island. Yuramon evolves into the In-Training-level Tanemon, a bulb-like Digimon Mimi first encountered. Tanemon then reaches the Rookie-level Palmon, distinguished by a tropical flower on her head, leaf-like arms for photosynthesis, and root-like feet for nutrient absorption. Palmon emits sweet fragrances when joyful and foul stenches when threatened as a defense. Her primary attacks are "Poison Ivy," extending toxic vines to paralyze opponents, and "Plant Shock," launching leaf or pollen assaults. During *Digimon Adventure*, she achieves Champion form Togemon, a cactus Digimon attacking with "Needle Spray" cactus spines. Her Ultimate form, Lilimon, emerges when Mimi's Crest of Sincerity activates, allowing them to tame DarkTyrannomon. Lilimon uses "Flower Cannon" energy blasts and "Flower Wreath" vine bindings to counter digital viruses. In *Digimon Adventure tri.*, Palmon reaches Mega form Rosemon during battles against infected Imperialdramon and Raguelmon. Rosemon employs "Forbidden Temptation," disintegrating opponent data with rose petals, and "Thorn Whip," an electrified whip to subdue frenzied Digimon. This evolution reflects Mimi's resolve to protect allies, though Alphamon's attacks force Rosemon back to Tanemon. Set five years after *tri.* in *Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna*, Palmon fights globally against Eosmon, an artificial Digimon abducting DigiDestined. A countdown on Digivices signals the impending separation between partners as the humans near adulthood. Despite this, Palmon achieves her Ultimate evolution (Lilimon) in the final battle, contributing to Eosmon's defeat, underscoring her enduring bond with Mimi before the partners separate. Palmon mirrors Mimi's extroverted and caring nature with a playful, kind, and emotionally expressive personality. She displays sensitivity, crying during farewells, and remains fiercely protective of Mimi. Her evolution consistently hinges on Mimi's emotional state, like evolving to Lilimon through Mimi's sincere tears or to Rosemon during Mimi's moments of clarity and determination. Beyond the main series, Palmon appears in spin-offs like *Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode*, evolving into MarineAngemon, and *Digimon Masters*, set during Myotismon's Odaiba invasion. In *Digimon Liberator*, Palmon inhabits the Garden sanctuary for real Digimon, highlighting her species' recurring role as peaceful inhabitants in Digital World narratives.
