Alexis debuted in Transformers: Armada as a headstrong, opinionated teenager. Transitioning into a supporting role in Transformers: Energon, her experiences during Earth's initial Transformer conflict shifted her childhood presidential ambition toward a physics career. She aimed to apply knowledge gained from the Autobots to benefit Earth, with exposure to space travel and Cybertron fueling her interest in universal exploration. A decade post-Armada, she emerged as a global activist, traveling extensively to protest the misuse of Earth's natural resources. Her commitment to environmental causes occasionally involved violent demonstration methods. During a protest at Alterenergy's 01 Source excavation site in Australia, Terrorcons attacked. Alexis intervened directly, saving teenager Kicker Jones from Battle Ravage by shooting the Terrorcon with a flare gun. Though briefly captured by Scorponok, she escaped with Rad and Carlos's assistance. Reuniting with Rad, now an Alterenergy employee, revealed tensions over their divergent paths; Rad disapproved of her nomadic activism, while she criticized his corporate affiliation. Their conflict resolved momentarily when Terrorcons attacked Los Angeles. After an explosion destroyed her taxi, Rad—believing her dead—embraced her upon her reappearance, expressing relief and urging her not to leave him again. Both exhibited embarrassment afterward, with their relationship status undefined. Alexis later collaborated with the United Nations on Alterenergy initiatives, aiding task forces in locating Kicker after his abduction by Demolishor. She also informed Ocean City residents about Terrorcon threats to other Cyber Cities, supporting evacuation efforts during attacks. Unresolved elements include a noted but unexplored connection to Starscream, whom she reportedly loved despite his Decepticon allegiance. This subplot received no development in Energon. Additionally, the Dreamwave comic continuity depicted her compiling a database of Transformer information, unknowingly influenced by planted data from the Mini-Con Over-Run. Her character arc concluded without significant evolution in Energon, remaining peripheral to the primary conflict. Her activism and relationship with Rad were not revisited after the Los Angeles incident.
