Description
Bomb is the older brother of the S-Class hero Bang, and like his sibling, he is a legendary master of martial arts. He is the creator and primary teacher of a fighting style known as the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist. In his youth, Bomb was a formidable and serious fighter, earning the ominous nickname Wind of Death, which contrasted sharply with his brother Bang's more violent and rebellious nature. At thirty-two years old, he was considered virtually unstoppable. When they were younger, Bomb defeated Bang in a duel to humble him and steer him away from a destructive path, an act that ultimately led to Bang's reformation and the founding of his own dojo.

In terms of appearance, Bomb is an aged but powerfully built individual. While Bang has a full head of hair and a mustache, Bomb is bald on top but possesses long white hair on the sides and a long beard. He typically wears a green and blue martial arts robe and carries himself with a notably strong and upright posture.

Bomb is defined by his caring and responsible nature, particularly towards his younger brother. He worries about the dangers Bang faces as a hero and has even suggested that Bang retire from hero work. Despite his own formidable skills, Bomb is acutely aware that he is past his prime, often lamenting the loss of the stamina and durability he had sixty years prior. He demonstrates a strong sense of duty, as shown when he closes his own dojo and dismisses all his students to keep them safe while he goes to help Bang hunt down the hero hunter Garou. While not a professional hero himself, he displays heroic qualities, such as risking his safety to save injured heroes. He also holds hope for the younger generation, showing concern for Genos's safety in reckless battles.

Bomb's primary motivation throughout the story is to assist his brother Bang. He agrees to help hunt down Garou, a former disciple of Bang who has become a dangerous threat. His role in the narrative is largely that of a powerful ally who joins the fight during the Monster Association arc. He fights alongside Bang and other heroes against some of the most formidable monsters, including the Dragon-level threats Elder Centipede and Overgrown Rover. He is one of the few individuals who becomes aware of Saitama's true, overwhelming strength.

The most significant relationship in Bomb's life is with his brother, Bang. They share a deep mutual respect, and their bond is the cornerstone of their power, allowing them to perform devastating combination attacks. Bomb also develops a respectful rapport with other heroes. He cares for the young hero Genos and earns the admiration of the heroine Fubuki, who is impressed by his martial arts prowess and attempts to recruit him. He is also a member of the informal Saitama Group, a circle of characters who associate with the protagonist.

Bomb's development is subtle but present. He transitions from a retired master living peacefully to an active combatant facing world-ending threats. His journey forces him to confront the limitations of his age, though his skill remains extraordinary. In a critical moment, he watches with pride as Bang refuses to use a violent old fighting style against Garou, showing how both brothers have evolved from their aggressive youths.

Bomb's notable abilities are immense. He is a master martial artist whose power is considered to be on par with, or even surpassing, top-tier S-Class heroes. His primary technique, the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist, involves generating razor-sharp whirlwinds of air pressure with his hands to slice opponents into pieces. He possesses incredible speed and reflexes, capable of shredding monsters before they can react. He also has immense strength, able to shatter the tough carapace of Elder Centipede when combining his power with Bang's.

Alongside his brother, Bomb can execute several extraordinary combination techniques. The Whirlwind Water Stream: Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist is a powerful attack that knocks back and pulverizes enemies with shockwaves. The even more potent Whirlwind Water Stream: Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist allows the two brothers to unleash a relentless barrage of strikes from both sides. However, due to their advanced age, these grand techniques take a heavy toll on their bodies and can typically only be used once per battle. Even with his physical limitations, Bomb has proven capable of holding his own in combat against an evolved Garou, cementing his status as one of the world's greatest martial artists.
