A chance encounter between two neighbors begins when a runaway dog becomes an unlikely matchmaker. The story centers on Sui Onodera, a twenty-three-year-old who lives alone in an apartment. Suis quiet, solitary life is suddenly interrupted when a neighbor, Kaoru Seto, barges into the residence in a panic. Kaoru explains that his dog, a pet named Tino, has somehow gotten loose and ended up on Suis balcony. This abrupt and unexpected meeting marks the beginning of a connection between the two, as Kaoru gradually becomes a regular part of Suis previously isolated daily life.

The setting is an intimate and grounded one, primarily taking place within the confines of an apartment building. The story focuses on the slow, delicate development of a romantic bond between the two main characters, built not through grand gestures but through small, everyday moments and shared silences.
