Description
A high school boy named Itsuki Tomonari comes from a poor family and is suddenly abandoned by his parents, who are gambling addicts, leaving him with almost no money to support himself or continue his education. His life takes an unexpected turn when he gets caught up in a kidnapping incident involving Hinako Konohana, the daughter of the chairman of one of Japan's largest conglomerates, the Konohana Group. Following this encounter, Hinako quickly takes a liking to Itsuki, which leads to him being brought into the Konohana household. He transfers to Kiou Academy, an exclusive and prestigious school for the children of the ultra-wealthy, and begins serving as Hinako's secret caretaker.

The central conflict arises from the stark contrast between Hinako's public image and her private reality. On the surface, Hinako is the picture of the perfect young lady: brilliant, elegant, charming, and admired by everyone at school. However, in truth, she is a lazy girl with absolutely no life skills, unable to perform even the most basic daily tasks on her own. Due to the immense pressure of her family's reputation, she must maintain this flawless facade at school. Itsuki's role is to secretly support her from the shadows, managing everything from her meals to her daily needs to ensure her perfect image remains intact while keeping his position hidden from the other students. As he diligently cares for her, Hinako begins to develop strong feelings for him, eventually admitting that she would hate it if he were not around.

The story is set primarily within the opulent halls of Kiou Academy and the Konohana family estate, environments defined by a rigid social hierarchy where family lineage and wealth determine status. Itsuki, a commoner, must navigate this world of extreme privilege while keeping his role a secret. The narrative is supported by a cast of characters that includes Shizune Tsurumi, a cool and strict maid of the Konohana family who trains Itsuki; Mirei Tennoji, a rival student from the Tennoji Group who considers herself Hinako's rival; Narika Miyakojima, a very shy student from a sporting goods family; and Yuri Hirano, Itsuki's older childhood friend who acts as his big sister. Other students like Karen Asahi and Katsuya Taisho initially present themselves as commoners but are also from powerful families, adding layers to the school's social dynamics.

Several notable narrative arcs drive the series forward. The initial arc establishes the kidnapping incident and Itsuki's recruitment into his caretaker role. Subsequent arcs focus on the challenges of daily life at Kiou Academy, where Itsuki must manage his secret duties while dealing with the rivalries and intrigues of the wealthy student body, particularly the competitive schemes of Mirei Tennoji. As the story progresses, the master-servant relationship between Itsuki and Hinako deepens, evolving into a mutual bond that transcends their original arrangement. Hinako's pampering of Itsuki and her growing dependency on him create a romantic comedy dynamic that explores themes of hidden vulnerabilities, class disparity, and the gradual development of genuine affection within the high-stakes environment of elite society.
