Description
Raizo is a successful and popular creator of dark, gritty Boys Love manga, known for his cool and handsome demeanor. In stark contrast stands Shinobu, who works under the pen name TOS and writes light, fluffy BL stories. Despite his talent, Shinobu struggles with severe social awkwardness and difficulty communicating, which has kept his work from finding a large audience. The two men, complete opposites in both their artistic style and personality, find themselves drawn into an unlikely relationship after an alcohol-fueled encounter leads them to start dating, a situation that forces Raizo, who has always identified as straight, to begin questioning his own sexuality.
As their romance deepens, the story continues into Comic Party Wonder Love Love, where the pair decide to take the significant step of moving in together. This new chapter of their lives is immediately complicated by the sudden arrival of Raizo's sister, Rina. Raizo resolves to finally introduce Shinobu to her as his boyfriend and roommate, but Shinobu's well-intentioned yet anxious antics continually threaten to derail the confession, making the simple act of coming out a nerve-wracking ordeal, even though Rina herself is a fan of BL manga.
Living together also forces Shinobu to confront his own deep-seated insecurities about the relationship. Overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy, he sees himself as a garbage larva living with a rich, successful boyfriend and struggles to find a way to meaningfully contribute to their shared home life. The narrative arcs explore the everyday challenges of cohabitation, the struggle for self-worth, and the complexities of revealing a same-sex relationship to family, all set against the backdrop of two creators navigating the professional world of manga publishing.
