Despite his talent, Shinobu struggles with severe social awkwardness and difficulty communicating, which has kept his work from finding a large audience. The two men, complete opposites in both their artistic style and personality, find themselves drawn into an unlikely relationship after an alcohol-fueled encounter leads them to start dating, a situation that forces Raizo, who has always identified as straight, to begin questioning his own sexuality.
