Description
Chihiro Asari, tired of her draining corporate job, submits her resignation to her boss, Shioji Hatori. To her surprise, Shioji responds by quitting on the spot as well. Six months later, at Shioji's wedding party, Chihiro meets Shioji's younger brother, Wataru. A brief, awkward encounter where Wataru appears completely drunk ends Chihiros faint romantic hopes before they can begin. However, the three former colleagues find themselves drawn together at a cozy café and bar named Sputnik, where they settle into a comfortable, meandering friendship built on idle chit-chat and a shared sense of life's uncertainties.

The story then leaps forward a decade. The world has been plunged into the Corona disaster, a global pandemic that forces everyone to re-evaluate their lives. Chihiro, Shioji, and Wataru, who have all gone their separate ways, find their paths intersecting once again. Each of them faces a personal turning point: their long-held assumptions about careers, relationships, and happiness begin to crumble under the weight of the new reality. The manga follows these three individuals as they navigate the isolation and anxiety of the pandemic era, unraveling their past regrets and mistaken beliefs. The café Sputnik serves as the symbolic and physical anchor for their reunion, a place where they can confront their loneliness together and begin to open up an unimaginable future beyond the crisis.
