Chihiro Asari, tired of her draining corporate job, submits her resignation to her boss, Shioji Hatori. To her surprise, Shioji responds by quitting on the spot as well. Six months later, at Shioji's wedding party, Chihiro meets Shioji's younger brother, Wataru. A brief, awkward encounter where Wataru appears completely drunk ends Chihiros faint romantic hopes before they can begin.
