Description
Seventeen-year-old Akane appears to lead a perfect life. She has friends, a boyfriend, and a seemingly ideal existence as a high school student. This flawless image is a calculated performance, as every move she makes is dictated by a compulsive need to be liked by everyone around her. No one suspects that her cheerful personality is a mask, carefully constructed to avoid rejection and maintain her social standing.

Her carefully managed world is disrupted when she encounters a man named Ai. He looks and sounds exactly like the protagonist from her favorite novel, a character who only exists within the pages of a story she loves. This impossible meeting throws Akane into confusion, forcing her to question whether this is a coincidence or something more meaningful. The arrival of this living embodiment of a fictional character begins to crack the facade she has worked so hard to build.

The story unfolds as an ensemble drama that explores the intersecting fates of fragile hearts. As Akane grapples with the meaning of Ai's appearance, she is drawn into a deeper examination of her own identity. Her journey forces her to confront the gap between her performed self and her true feelings, and to consider what it really means to connect with another person without the safety of a script. The narrative follows the ripple effects of this encounter, exploring how a seemingly impossible event can expose hidden truths and change the course of multiple lives.
