In the city of Ayatsuki, the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece have been reincarnated into the bodies of modern high school students, retaining their vast powers but living as ordinary teenagers. At the center of this hidden world is Arisa, a young woman who is the reincarnation of Persephone, the daughter of the harvest goddess Demeter.
