Description
Miranda is a grand duchess who has earned a fearsome reputation as a rare and notorious villainess following a certain incident. As a hostage sent to the suzerain state of Grangard, she finds herself forced into the unwanted position of being the side wife to the cold-hearted King Klaus. On her wedding night, Klaus compounds this humiliation by secretly drugging her with a truth serum, declaring that while everything in the country belongs to him, he will treat her as something especially precious.
Rather than becoming a victim, Miranda uses her quick wit and courage to turn the tables on the king and the scheming nobles surrounding the throne. She effortlessly manipulates the lords of the kingdom, all while toying with Klaus who struggles to express his genuine but clumsy adoration for her. As her influence grows, she soon finds herself not merely surviving at court but driving its conflicts. Great powers begin to invade, and Miranda moves to seize not only the position of queen but potentially the entire country, placing herself at the center of a war-torn royal palace. Her domain is conspiracy, she is accustomed to desperate situations, and she does not care at all about public opinion. The story follows her campaign of calculated schemes and her interactions with Klaus, whose initial distrust and coldness slowly give way to an awkward obsession, as she pursues her own hidden objectives.
