The setting is the volatile and high-tension environment of a Roppongi club, a place where the city’s glamorous exterior gives way to a dangerous underworld of criminals, gangsters, and intoxicated patrons. The main character is a version of Higuchi himself, a security guard whose job is to maintain order and protect the club’s guests, a task that frequently escalates into physical violence and moral dilemmas. The storyline focuses on his daily confrontations with the club’s most dangerous visitors and the psychological toll of working in a space where chaos is a constant threat.
