Description
A successful but romantically frustrated salaryman, Akasaka has everything money, looks, and style can buy, yet he cannot find a worthwhile partner. His search has only attracted freeloaders, overly sensitive men, and those with questionable intentions. On the verge of giving up on love entirely to dedicate himself to work, he receives unexpected advice from his favorite bartender: if he cannot find the perfect prince, he should simply make one himself.
Determined to follow this plan, Akasaka soon encounters a young man named Yotsuya being harassed in the Nichoume district. After Akasaka rescues and scolds him, he is struck by Yotsuyas pure and princely demeanor, making him a seemingly ideal candidate for his training project. To his surprise, the very next day at work, Akasaka discovers that the young man he rescued is a new employee at his company. The connection does not end there, as Yotsuya is also revealed to be the successor to the company president, and Akasaka has been tasked with personally training him.
The story follows this unlikely duo as they navigate the complexities of a strict office hierarchy and a secret romantic agenda. Akasaka must manage his professional duty to mold Yotsuya into a capable heir while pursuing his private mission to shape him into the ideal partner. Their dynamic is infused with comedic tension and office humor, as Akasakas disciplined approach to both work and romance clashes with the realities of his young and earnest trainee.
Notable narrative arcs explore the progression of their relationship from a formal superior-subordinate dynamic to a more personal connection, complicated by their secret after-hours arrangement. The narrative also delves into the obstacles threatening their bond, including the lingering presence of Akasakas disappointing past dates and the pressures of corporate life as Yotsuyas identity as the companys heir becomes a focal point of workplace politics.
