Manga
Description
When the Photography Club and the Cinema Club both face dissolution due to a lack of members, the remaining students decide to merge them into a single Cinephoto Club. The story follows Satsuki Amamiya, who initially joined the Photography Club out of admiration for a senior, and her energetic best friend An Kiriyama as they navigate their new club activities. They are joined by Sakurako Shikishima, the former president of the Cinema Club who suggested the merger.

Rather than focusing on a single hobby, the group explores various creative pursuits involving photography and film equipment, from 360 cameras and action cameras to kite aerial photography. Their adventures lead them to meet Haruno Akiyama, a manga artist who becomes their sponsor and uses their experiences as inspiration for her own work. The cast also includes Kako Komada, a motovlogger and Haruno's high school friend, and Torayo Kurokuma, a horror manga artist with an interest in the supernatural.

The story is set primarily in Yamanashi Prefecture, with the characters traveling to various real-life tourist spots across Japan. The Cinephoto Club members document their journeys through photography and video, while Haruno incorporates their experiences into her manga about high school students with cameras. The series shares a universe with the manga Laid-Back Camp, with characters from that work making occasional cameo appearances.

Notable narrative arcs include the formation of the Cinephoto Club, various photography excursions to locations like the Yamanashi Science Museum, a manga pilgrimage stamp rally, and segments focused on food tours and local festivals. The tone remains light and comedic, emphasizing the characters enjoyment of each others company and the beauty of the places they visit.
