Mashiro is a delinquent with bad grades and an even worse attitude. During summer vacation, his desperate mother hires Gaku, a college student with decent but unremarkable grades and average looks, to work as his part-time tutor. To motivate his seemingly hopeless student, Gaku offers unconventional rewards for each problem Mashiro solves. Over the course of that summer, Mashiro develops a crush on his kind and patient tutor.
