Maruo, a high school student obsessed with voyeurism, makes money by selling photos and videos of his female classmates to other boys at school. He becomes particularly fixated on a girl named Tabe, who constantly appears with visible injuries and bruises, leading him to suspect she is the victim of bullying. Although Maruo often feels the urge to speak with her and offer help, he never musters the courage to do so. His life takes a turn when he discovers a dark secret about his older brother, a person he idolizes. Through a twist of fate, this revelation forces him to become involved with Tabe, and Maruo begins to realize that not everything is as it seems on the surface.
