A world exists where magic is a living, sentient force. These magical beings are known as Majiks, and a human who completes a Majiks unique trial can forge a contract with it, gaining its power as their own. Those who accomplish this are called Witches, and it is an immutable law of this world that only women can become Witches or use magical tools. This is the absolute truth, until a wild, reclusive young man named Ichi appears.

Ichi was abandoned on Druid Mountain as a child and has survived for years as a hunter, living by a strict code of death for death he only kills to eat or to protect himself from something that intends to kill him. His ability to sense bloodlust is unparalleled. One day, his instincts lead him to a battle between the most powerful Witch of her era, the Abyssal Witch Desscaras, and the terrifying King Majik, Uroro. Uroro has a specific trial that no woman can scratch his heart, making him unattainable for any Witch. However, as a man, Ichi is not bound by this restriction. He intervenes in the fight and, through pure hunting instinct, pierces Uroros heart, unknowingly passing the trial and acquiring the King Majik as his own. This event shatters the foundations of the magical world, creating the first and only male Witch in history. Reluctantly, Desscaras takes responsibility for this feral disaster of a boy, bringing him to the Mantinel Witches Association in the capital city of Natali.

The story follows Ichi as he is thrust into a complex society of Witches who view him with a mixture of awe, suspicion, and fear. He is assigned to Team Desscaras, alongside the powerful but arrogant Desscaras and Kumugi, a timid research cadet appointed to observe and report on Ichi. His power, the Ultra-Amplification Majik Uroro, is immensely destructive but forces Ichi to fall asleep for three days after each use. Despite his lack of formal knowledge, Ichi approaches Majik hunting as he would any other hunt, using traps, tracking, and a deep understanding of nature to overcome trials that baffle the Witches. He quickly acquires new allies, including the lightning fox Inazuri and the ice shark Uruwashi.

The narrative unfolds through several major arcs. The Introduction Arc establishes Ichi’s origin and his shocking acquisition of Uroro, leading to his integration into the Witchs Association. The Hisame Majik Arc sends Team Desscaras on its first mission to Jauz Village to deal with the ice shark Majik. The Kindake Contest Arc introduces a hunting competition that is interrupted by the emergence of a far more dangerous enemy, foreshadowing a greater threat. The Bakugami Arc takes the team to the seemingly joyous country of Bakugami, where they encounter Gokuraku the Brutalizer, a prince who beats Majiks to a pulp in his desperate quest to become a Witch. This arc delves into the darker truth behind the countrys blessing. Following this, the Male Witch Debut Arc formally announces Ichi’s existence to the world at a grand party, adding the volatile Gokuraku to Team Desscaras. Most recently, the Demonic Ocean Arc sends the team to the Pendulum Seas, where they board the ghost ship Chronostasis in pursuit of the Chronoweaver Majik, only to face a new, human-hating Majik named Kizashi. Throughout these events, a prophecy hangs over Ichi he is destined to save the world from the World-Hater Majik, but he will die in the process. This fate becomes intertwined with Desscaras when she tricks him into a blood oath that ties her life to his, ensuring that if he dies, she will die as well, binding the strongest Witch to the worlds only male Witch in a desperate bid to change the future.
