In the kingdom of Ashbury, a woman named Victoria Sellers begins a quiet new life, but her past refuses to stay buried. She was once Chloe, a premier operative for a spy organization in the kingdom of Hargal. After discovering a horrible truth about her employers, including the fact that her family’s death was hidden from her to ensure her compliance, Chloe faked her own death by leaping from a cliff, washing up on the shores of Ashbury and assuming the identity of a missing woman named Victoria. Her only wish is to experience a normal, peaceful civilian existence.

The story follows Victoria of Many Faces, a manga written by Syuu and illustrated by Komo Ushino. The setting is a fantasy era where spies operate behind the scenes in every land.
