Satomi Daichi, a calm and composed honor student, has always made it clear that he dislikes Keiko Yamato. Their cold school relationship takes an unexpected turn when they bump into each other at Minami Kindergarten. There, they discover an unlikely common ground: Keiko looks after her younger brother, while Satomi cares for his younger sister. This shared responsibility allows Keiko to finally speak normally with Satomi, and she soon begins helping him with housekeeping, an area where the otherwise perfect student is hopelessly inept. As they spend more time together, their mutual antagonism slowly gives way to understanding and budding romance. The story is set in a typical Japanese school and home environment, with the presence of their adorable younger siblings, Hana and Ken, adding warmth and comedy.
