Mari is a high school girl from Tokyo who loves living a queen-like lifestyle, spending her afternoons shopping in Shibuya and her nights going to clubs. That carefree, thrill-seeking routine is abruptly shattered when her father is laid off, forcing the entire family to relocate to a remote countryside village. The new environment feels like another world: there are no shops, no karaoke bars, and not even any birds in sight. Mari despairs at the prospect of finding a handsome boyfriend or any source of excitement in such a place.

Her luck appears to change when she stumbles upon a host club hidden in the mountains, the last thing she expected to find in a town with no entertainment. Inside, she meets Sōgo, an incredibly attractive host who seems like her ticket back to fun. However, she quickly discovers that Sōgo is not a typical city host. By day he works as a farmer, and by night he works as a host, a lifestyle the story describes as half-farmer, half-host. Initially, Mari is put off by this absurd contradiction and his down-to-earth world, but as she spends more time with him, she finds herself drawn in. Her initial disgust gradually shifts into genuine attraction as she witnesses his dedication to agriculture and his earnest personality.
