Description
In middle school, Yuna Nagasawa endures relentless bullying from her peers. The only person she can confide in is her cousin Yuya, who serves as her emotional anchor. When a pair of mysterious brothers transfer to her school, they approach Yuna with an unexpected offer of friendship. This development stirs both curiosity and unease, especially as Yuya’s own good looks and close bond with Yuna inadvertently intensify the resentment directed at her. As Yuna navigates the transition into high school, she must contend with the lingering social isolation, the pressures of her family dynamics, and the possibility of forging genuine connections. The narrative follows her gradual path from victimized loner to someone who may finally find the female friendships she has long lacked, while exploring themes of trust, self-worth, and the complexities of adolescent relationships. The story unfolds across school settings, from the hostile halls of middle school to the uncertain promise of high school, with the brother characters and Yuya acting as key figures in Yuna’s emotional journey.
