Description
Tamaki is an only child raised by her mother alone. After her mother succumbs to an illness, Tamaki finds herself without any relatives. Following the instructions in her mother’s will, she visits the Ootori family—a household completely unfamiliar to her. There she is met by Shinga Ootori, a young man who is extraordinarily wealthy and handsome but also arrogant and overbearing. Without warning, he declares that from that day forward Tamaki is his wife, and he steals her first kiss.
The story unfolds as the sixteen-year-old Tamaki is thrust into an arranged marriage with the intimidating Shinga, living in his lavish home while navigating the gulf between his cold exterior and the possibility of genuine affection. Shinga’s domineering attitude initially clashes with Tamaki’s gentle but resilient nature, yet moments of unexpected kindness and growing intimacy begin to reshape their relationship. The narrative follows their gradual journey from a forced, awkward arrangement to a deeper emotional bond, with conflicts arising from Shinga’s pride, Tamaki’s insecurities, and the occasional interference of outsiders. The manga weaves comedic and romantic tones throughout, focusing on the couple’s personal growth and the slow thaw of Shinga’s heart as they learn to trust and care for one another. The story concludes over fifteen chapters, resolving the central couple’s relationship and their place in the Ootori household.
