Kreis, the son of a powerful marquess, is a modern-day Japanese man who has been reincarnated into the world of a BL novel that he himself wrote. His memories of his past life do not return until after he has been branded a villain, executed as a lackey of the story’s final boss, and then sent back in time to the moment before his fall. Now armed with a second chance, Kreis swears revenge on the family that mistreated him and vows to protect the story’s stunningly beautiful final boss, King Siegfried. Despite knowing that Siegfried is fated to be defeated, Kreis feels an overwhelming desire to keep him alive at any cost.
