Description
University student Miyu repeatedly sets aside time with her friends to visit the home of her brother-in-law and his young son. Her brother-in-law, still grieving the death of his wife—Miyu’s older sister—tries to discourage her from coming over and helping around the house, insisting that their family tie ended with his wife’s passing. Miyu refuses to stop, persistently showing up to cook, clean, and care for her nephew. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that Miyu’s devotion is driven by more than familial duty: she harbors romantic feelings for her brother-in-law, though he remains distant and burdened by guilt and loss. A significant portion of the narrative flashes back to the past, revealing how the older sister and the brother-in-law met and fell in love, lending depth to his grief and Miyu’s quiet struggle to be accepted into the household. The series explores themes of unspoken love, the weight of memory, and the slow process of healing within a small, fragile family unit.
