Description
They have always liked each other. They were both too young and too shy to confess honestly. Five years later, they finally become a couple. But being in a relationship does not automatically solve everything. Mao Sakisaka, a serious and studious girl, and Hatori, a rough-around-the-edges boy, still struggle to understand each other. Their different personalities and insecurities cause them to misinterpret each other's actions and feelings, leading to repeated misunderstandings, small fights, and emotional distance. The story follows the couple as they slowly learn to communicate and trust each other while navigating the challenges of high school life. Each situation is presented twice: first from Mao's perspective, and then from Hatori's perspective, revealing what each character was actually thinking and feeling during the same event. This dual viewpoint highlights how easily love can be derailed by assumptions and pride. Over the course of the series, the two grow from awkward, unsure teenagers into more mature partners, learning that being honest with each other is the only way to bridge the gap between them.
