Description
Ryosuke Oota is a free worker whose private passion is collecting and playing classic bishōjo games. One rainy night, his flashy coworker Seiji Muroya, a typical charao (player type), gets thrown out by a woman and ends up crashing at Ryosuke’s apartment. There Seiji discovers Ryosuke’s stash of eroge and, intrigued, insists on trying one. Reluctantly, Ryosuke picks a beginner-friendly title, and the two opposite personalities settle in for a night of playing. What starts as a one-time curiosity becomes a regular gaming session, as Seiji gets hooked and Ryosuke rediscovers the joy of sharing the medium. Each volume features the pair—and later a third member, a yankee-style older woman who grew up during eroge’s golden age—playing real, iconic titles such as Dōkyūsei Remake, Slave Market Renaissance, School Days, and Family Project. Through laughter, debate, and occasional awkwardness, they work through multiple routes of each game. The series follows their evolving friendship and Ryosuke’s personal journey as he reconnects with why he fell in love with the genre in the first place, culminating in a heartfelt conclusion after two volumes.
