Description
Sakura is a 27-year-old nursery school teacher who believes she should be leading an ordinary, happy life like everyone else. Yet she cannot shake the growing unease and anxiety that come from comparing herself to friends who have already married and started families. Her discomfort turns to shock when she discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her. Devastated and lost, Sakura encounters Kyohei Uehara, a man who runs a plant shop and a shared house. He offers her a fresh start, and she soon moves into the shared house, finding solace in the new environment.
As Sakura begins to rebuild her life, she develops feelings for the kind and grounded Kyohei. However, her budding romance is complicated by the arrival of Angel, a charming and attentive foreigner who also lives in the shared house. What initially appears to be a love rival turns into a genuine emotional dilemma when Angel's attention shifts toward Sakura. Caught between the reliable, plant-loving Kyohei and the warmhearted Angel, Sakura questions what love truly means, whether marriage is necessary for happiness, and what kind of life she really wants.
The story follows her internal journey as she navigates the uncertainties of her late twenties, dealing with workplace pressures, personal growth, and the struggle to define her own happiness in an era where any way of living is supposedly valid. Over the course of three volumes, the love triangle intensifies, with Sakura torn between two very different men who each offer her a distinct vision of the future. A date with Kyohei and moments of connection with Angel force her to confront her deepest feelings. The series concludes with Sakura still searching for her answer, reflecting the real, unresolved nature of life and love for those on the cusp of thirty.
