Nao Anekawa is a young woman with zero interest in romance or marriage, content to live quietly with her younger brothers. Her ordinary life is shattered when a strange talking mascot forcibly abducts her to appear on a television program. She awakens at the venue of Love Keyman, a romance reality show hosted by the gods. There she finds thirteen other men who have also been brought against their will—all of them famous historical figures who left their mark on history, including the likes of Toshizo Hijikata, Goemon Ishikawa, Alfred Nobel, and Michelangelo. Nao is told she must choose a marriage partner from among these thirteen legendary high-spec men. Together with the great men, the struggling young woman sets out to search for her one and only destiny.

The story follows Nao as she navigates the unpredictable love reality show across several stages. In the first volume, she meets the thirteen historical candidates and the chaotic welcome party sets the tone for the competition. The second volume moves to a second stage on Mujin Island, where the participants must survive in the wild. Nao begins foraging with the extremely negative Nobel, who struggles to open up, while Michelangelo asks another historical figure to pose as a nude model. The third and final volume centers on a decisive date between Toshizo Hijikata and Goemon Ishikawa, in which one of them must be eliminated. Nao, who has always prioritized her family over her own desires, is forced to confront what she truly wants and which man she will choose. Further chaos erupts as the historical figures run wild, leading to the conclusion of the time-crossing love reality show. The complete story spans three volumes.
