Animal hospital nurse Kokonoe Sakiho has a secret. Seven years earlier, she was a promising student in a popular fiction workshop run by Tsukishima Koichi, a charismatic lecturer who took an interest in her literary talent. He used that position of authority and trust to sexually assault her. Sakiho has since built a quiet life and loves her husband, but the trauma has left her unable to feel clean in her own body. Convinced she can no longer bear children and that her husband's touch somehow soils him, she decides that the only way to move forward is to break her silence. She resolves to publicly accuse Tsukishima.

The story follows what happens after she makes that choice. Sakiho discovers that coming forward is only the beginning of a much harder fight. She must contend with a husband who struggles to understand, a society quick to question her motives, and an online mob that asks why she waited seven years and why she went to a hotel more than once if she did not consent. Tsukishima, meanwhile, genuinely believes the encounters were consensual adult affairs and sees himself as wronged. The narrative refuses to reduce him to a simple monster: his desire to mentor and his predatory urges exist side by side, and his own insecurities and professional setbacks have fed a need to prove he still matters.

As the story unfolds, the perspectives expand. Tsukishima's wife and daughter are drawn into the fallout, each forced to confront what they knew or chose not to see. Another victim, the novelist Kobarama Yoko, steps forward with her own account, shifting the momentum. Characters with no direct connection to the case also appear: a university student who joins the online attacks against Sakiho, and an older woman who starts a petition to reinstate Tsukishima at the workshop. Through these multiple viewpoints, the manga explores how harassment is enabled not only by the act itself but by the everyday conversations, jokes, and silences that surround it. The title, which can be read as "raw skin," refers to the way sexual violence strips away a person's protective layer, leaving the vulnerable flesh beneath exposed. The work examines the cost of that stripping, the difference between having your skin torn off by force and choosing to shed it yourself, and the painful possibility of regrowth.
