Mayumi is a plump, cheerful woman in her early thirties who is separated from her husband Takashi and going through divorce mediation, despite the two still loving each other. Chinatsu is a former yankee with a quick temper who attracts masochistic male clients, and she struggles to contain her violent impulses. Shio is a slim, well-read woman in her mid-twenties who projects an air of quiet intelligence.
