Shiki works as a patissier at a popular parfait specialty shop, but he has an unusual quality that makes him attract unwanted attention from others. Having grown tired of being misunderstood and pursued, he tries to keep his distance from people. One day, a university student and popular model named Kosei comes to the shop for a photo shoot. When a dangerous customer harasses Shiki, Kosei steps in to help. Impressed by Kosei's straightforward, no-nonsense personality, Shiki hopes they can become normal friends. But soon after, Kosei confesses that he is drawn to Shiki, leaving him shocked.

Despite his wariness, Shiki agrees to a trial relationship, and the two begin spending time together. As they date, Shiki slowly opens up and realizes that being with Kosei feels different from his past experiences. In the second volume, they encounter Shinomiya, a fellow model and friend of Kosei, who bluntly asks whether they have been intimate yet, forcing Shiki to confront his own feelings about physical intimacy.
