Description
College student Tatsumi carries a deep trauma related to dolls, stemming from a past incident that made him avoid them entirely. Despite this, his admiration for his senior, Maiyoi Tsukimi, leads him to accept her invitation to work part-time at a doll shop, where he slowly begins to confront his fear. Not long after he starts, a mysterious curse transforms Tsukimi into a doll, leaving her trapped in a miniature body. The only way to reverse the curse is for her to be cherished and cared for. Reluctantly thrust into the role of caretaker, Tatsumi must navigate the awkwardness of tending to the very thing he fears while also growing closer to the person he admires. The situation becomes more complicated with the introduction of other characters, such as Yachiyo, who sets a challenge for Tatsumi to retrieve one of Tsukimi's missing body parts within a week, forcing him to confront his trauma head-on and deepening the bond between them. As the story progresses, Tatsumi learns to face his past gradually, and his relationship with Tsukimi shifts from distant admiration to something more personal, even as the curse remains unresolved. The narrative ultimately follows his journey toward overcoming his doll complex and the uncertain romantic future between him and the doll-ified senior he has come to cherish.
