Lilac Balclid, a marquis's daughter in a fantasy kingdom, awakens to the memory that she has been reincarnated into an otome game as its villainess. In the game's script, she is the rival of the heroine Floral Sash and is fated to have her engagement with the second prince Cedric broken off, leading to a bad end. Refusing to accept a secondary role, Lilac resolves to change her story. She tries to avoid the predetermined engagement by focusing on proper ladylike conduct and searching for a better match.
