Due to past trauma, high school teacher Ito has been hiding her otaku hobby and living cautiously, keeping her fandom to herself. At the school where she works, there is a colleague named Niki who bears an uncanny resemblance to Ito’s favorite character, Ayama Rui. Determined to keep her distance from any three-dimensional handsome man, Ito vows to simply admire him from afar and avoid getting deeply involved. However, Niki turns out to have a completely different side outside of school—his refined and gentle teacher persona is a carefully crafted facade, while his true personality is rough and blunt, and he is known for casually dating women. Despite her initial resolve, Ito accidentally discovers Niki’s hidden nature, and the two begin a complicated, push-and-pull romantic comedy where a secret otaku and a teacher who looks exactly like her favorite character navigate misunderstandings, unexpected warmth, and slowly growing attraction. The story deepens when a temporary teacher who was Ito’s former classmate appears, creating a love triangle and leaving Ito torn between two very different men.
