Inuzuka is known as the eccentric prince of the school's chemistry room. Handsome but intensely focused on experiments, he is regarded as a weirdo by his classmates and keeps to himself. The class committee member, Akai, is asked by their homeroom teacher to get along with Inuzuka. When Akai awkwardly approaches him and is asked why he is being friendly, Akai stumbles through an answer that Inuzuka interprets as a confession, immediately declaring them lovers. Despite Akai’s initial reluctance, Inuzuka’s persistent and oddly romantic approach begins to draw them closer, and a chemistry-room romance develops between the aloof genius and the responsible student.
