Description
A young woman from a wealthy family has a secret she has never told anyone: whenever she has sex, she can hear her partner’s true inner thoughts. This involuntary mind-reading has left her disillusioned with romance, and she avoids intimacy altogether. Under pressure from her family to enter an arranged marriage, she feels trapped and hopeless. One night, after drinking heavily, she confides her condition to her childhood friend and aloof bodyguard, Naoki – a stoic, unsociable man who has always been by her side but kept his distance. To her surprise, he responds by offering to prove whether she can hear his feelings through physical intimacy. Reluctantly, she agrees, and during their encounter she hears his hidden thought: "I love you." Despite their mutual attraction, Naoki believes he is not good enough for her and actively encourages her to consider other suitors, leading to a push-and-pull of hidden emotions, jealousy, and misunderstandings. The story follows their deepening bond as the female protagonist struggles with her ability, her growing feelings for Naoki, and the external pressure from a wealthy arranged‑marriage suitor who may have hidden motives. The narrative explores themes of vulnerability, self‑worth, and the challenge of expressing love when words are not enough.
