Description
Erze is a research assistant who works in a laboratory, quietly nursing a five-year unrequited crush on a stoic, taciturn knight. When she is compelled to attend an upcoming marriage hunting party, her close friend asks her to brew a love potion in advance. Upon completing the potion, Erze accidentally doses the very knight she has been longing for. The potion instantly transforms him from a quiet, reserved man into a passionate suitor who bluntly declares his love and insists on a marriage‑oriented relationship. Certain that his sudden change is only the effect of the drug, Erze refuses his advances, insisting that his feelings are a mistake. The knight, however, becomes relentlessly affectionate and persistent, while Erze desperately tries to escape the situation without tarnishing her long‑held feelings. The story unfolds as a comedic battle of wills between a now‑forward knight and a research‑minded woman who wants nothing to do with a confession born of magic, set against a backdrop of courtly expectations and laboratory mishaps. Along the way, Erze’s distrustful uncle and best friend add further complications, as does the lingering question of whether the knight’s emotions are purely artificial or have been hiding beneath his silence all along.
