This anthology series collects standalone manga adaptations of popular short stories originally published on the user-generated novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Each volume presents a set of five self-contained tales, all centered on villainess characters who, despite being cast as antagonists in their respective romantic or courtly narratives, forge their own happy endings.

The shared premise across the collection is that noble young women labeled as villainesses in their original stories—whether because of a game's script, a novel's plot, or the schemes of others—refuse to accept a tragic fate. Instead, they use their wits, preemptive strikes, or simple defiance to overturn condemnation events, broken engagements, and social ruin. The tone is consistently sweet, romantic, and focused on the moment the so-called villainess wins love, respect, and freedom.

Volume 1 includes five stories. In "私の方が殿下より上手(うわて)です," a prince attempts to break off his engagement publicly, only to find that his fiancée is several steps ahead of him and has already arranged a future on her own terms. In "「お前を愛することはない」と言われる前に「貴方を愛することはありませんわ」と言ってやった," the heroine preemptively declares she will never love the prince, only to spark his genuine interest. "私はただざまぁ回避したかっただけなのに～悪役令嬢に転生したら溺愛されてしまいました。～" follows a woman reincarnated as a villainess who simply wants to avoid a karma event, only to be showered with affection instead. "運命の番を見つけることがわかっている婚約者に尽くした結果" deals with a fiancé destined to find his fated mate, and the villainess's unexpected reward for her devotion. "悪役令嬢の恋" pairs a determined noblewoman with a partner who helps her dismantle the prince's schemes entirely.

Volume 2 presents another five stories. "婚約破棄された令嬢は隣国で愛される ～毒親育ちでトラウマだらけですが幸せになれました～" involves a young woman cast out after her engagement is broken, who finds a new home and genuine love in a neighboring kingdom despite a traumatic family past. "人見知り悪役令嬢の一途な恋 ～婚約破棄を覚悟していたら命の危機ですが、大好きな殿下のために頑張ります！～" features a painfully shy villainess who expects to lose her fiancé but instead faces a life-threatening crisis that strengthens her bond with the prince she adores. "隣国の王太子様、ノラ悪役令嬢にごはんをあげないでください" is a comedic entry in which a foreign crown prince keeps feeding a stray villainess, much to the dismay of those around them. "悪役令嬢は真実の愛なんて信じない" centers on a pragmatic villainess who openly rejects the idea of true love, only to have her beliefs challenged by a surprising suitor. "転生悪役令嬢はスマイル０円キャンペーンを終了しました" follows a reincarnated villainess who has been forcing herself to smile for everyone's sake and finally decides to stop the performance and live honestly.

Volume 3 continues the pattern with five fresh tales. "追放された悪役令嬢、闇魔法を駆使して社畜な推しを救います！" features an exiled villainess who uses forbidden dark magic to rescue her overworked favorite character from a corporate-like grind. "悪役令嬢、のち幼女 ～敵国の皇太子、実は可愛いもの好きでした～" transforms a villainess into a young girl and pairs her with an enemy crown prince who has a secret soft spot for adorable things. "怠惰な令嬢ヴァイオレットの庭に棲む、とある献身的な騎士の話" is a gentler story about a lazy, reclusive noblewoman and the remarkably devoted knight who quietly lives in her garden. "悪役令嬢は今からでも許されたい" deals with a villainess who has already made mistakes and now earnestly seeks forgiveness and a second chance. "捨てられ悪役令嬢ですがこのたび幸せになります" follows a discarded villainess who, after being cast aside, resolves to build a genuinely happy life for herself.

Key settings include fictional European-style kingdoms, royal courts, noble estates, and occasionally neighboring countries that offer refuge. Recurring character types include princes who either dismiss or underestimate the villainess, saint-like heroines who sometimes become rivals, loyal knights or commoner love interests, and the villainess herself—who is usually intelligent, proud, and capable of learning from her circumstances. Romantic pairings vary, but the consistent outcome is that the villainess either reforms her intended match or finds a better partner entirely. Common plot beats involve public engagement cancellations, reincarnation or transmemory from the modern world, karma or revenge reversals, and a final scene of mutual affection and security.

The anthology is published by Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha under the Ruelle Comics imprint, with cover illustrations by Ren Hyodo. All stories are standalone and written to be accessible without prior knowledge of the original novels.
