Koichi quits his office job to become a novelist, but he struggles to find inspiration. To focus on his writing, he moves into his grandfather's old atelier in a remote rural village. The quiet countryside leaves him at a loss, but his isolation is broken when he meets Ichika, a high school girl with dark, tanned skin who looks completely out of place among the rustic fields. She is sexually uninhibited and forward, but she also has a strong desire to marry, cooks well, and knows how to manage people.
