Each chapter follows a different character whose story parallels a well-known fairy tale—the Match-Selling Girl, Snow White, Cinderella, Pinocchio—but adapted to contemporary struggles such as night work, prostitution, romance scams, plastic surgery, and drug overdose. These girls, seeking true love or financial security, find themselves drawn into the underworld of "daddy" arrangements, host clubs, and deceptive relationships.

The narrative unfolds across six episodes, each focusing on a different archetype. The first episode centers on a girl using a dating app, highlighting the transactional nature of modern romance. A second follows a young woman who exploits men for money and gifts, a modern Snow White who "takes" rather than waits. A third depicts a Cinderella figure trying to climb the social ladder through a wealthy liaison in the Minato ward of Tokyo. A fourth reimagines Pinocchio as a woman whose lies about her appearance lead her to plastic surgery. A fifth episode examines a stepmother figure entangled with a romance scam artist. The final story offers a twist on the traditional prince charming, questioning whether a happy ending is possible in this gritty, cynical world.

The setting is deliberately realistic and raw, focusing on the "Toyoko" (Kabukicho) area, a hub of nightlife and exploitation. The manga blends drama with dark parody and psychological depth, using familiar fairy tale frameworks to critique contemporary social issues surrounding love, money, identity, and desperation.
