Sachiko Chijimatsu is a veteran Japanese actress, voice actress, and narrator born on November 30, 1937, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Her real name is Sachiko Suetsune. She began her career in 1960 and has remained active in the industry for decades. Throughout her long career, she has been affiliated with several talent agencies, including Aoni Production and Production Baobab, and is currently represented by 81 Produce.

Chijimatsu is renowned for her extensive and varied body of work, particularly in anime from the 1960s through the 1980s. One of her most iconic and enduring roles is as Tamako Nobi, the mother of the protagonist Nobita, in the long-running series Doraemon. She voiced this character from 1979 until 2005, appearing in the television series and numerous theatrical films. Another signature role is the frog character Pyonkichi in the series Dokonjo Gaeru and its sequel, Shin Dokonjo Gaeru. Her career also includes voicing young boys and animal characters, a common practice for female voice actors of her era. Notable examples include Kosuke Kita in Chōdenji Robo Combattler V, 001/Ivan Whiskey in the 1979 Cyborg 009 series, and Jimmy in Ginga Hyōryū Vifam. She also played Kabu in the 1966 Sally, the Witch and Shippona in the 1969 Himitsu no Akko-chan.

In recognition of her lifetime of achievement and contribution to the anime industry, Chijimatsu was honored with the Merit Award at the 10th Seiyu Awards in 2016.
