Tomoyuki Shimura is a Japanese voice actor, narrator, and actor born on December 12, 1963, in Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. Before becoming a voice actor, Shimura pursued stage acting in Tokyo, performing with theater troupes such as Jiraiya. His transition into voice acting was significantly influenced by a chance meeting with fellow voice actor Kazuki Yao during a theatrical production. He made his debut as a voice actor in the 2000s, with his first anime role being Airoll Festanian in Platinumhugen Ordian.
