Aldo Stella is an esteemed Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Turin on December 30, 1955. His career in the performing arts began with a passion for theatre, leading him to enroll in the acting school directed by Rai director Ernesto Cortese in 1976 while also studying diction under Iginio Bonazzi. He started his professional journey on the theatrical stage, but his career path shifted significantly in 1987 when he moved to Milan. There, he entered the world of dubbing, a field that would become his primary occupation for over two decades. In this new arena, he worked not only as a voice actor but also as a dialogue writer and, eventually, a dubbing director.
Stella's filmography as a voice actor is extensive, particularly in the realm of anime, where he has lent his voice to a wide array of characters. His work includes the series Huckleberry Finn Monogatari, for which he voiced multiple roles including Dan, Martin Goover, Sam, and Thomas. He is also the voice of Pierre in both Yumemiru Topo Gigio and Topo Gigio, and he voiced King Morumo in Mirmo Zibang!. His other notable anime roles include Genan Shiranui in Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture, Sampei in The Dagger of Kamui, and Bowie in The Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross.
