Alfredo Gabriel Basurto Contreras, known professionally as Gabriel Basurto, is a Mexican actor, voice director, and locutor born on December 11, 1977, in Mexicali, Baja California. He began his career in dubbing on January 15, 1998, with many of his early works completed at the studio Audiomaster 3000. His first starring role was as Leo Corbett, the Red Galaxy Ranger, in Power Rangers: La galaxia perdida. Basurto studied towards a degree in Graphic Design at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana but focused his professional development on acting, diction, and narration.

Basurto is known for a wide range of voice roles in anime, series, and films. In anime, he is recognized as the voice of Captain Levi Ackermann in the Latin American Spanish dub of Attack on Titan, including The Final Season Part 2. He voices the biologist Major Martin Lazzari in the anime films Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters and Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle. His other prominent anime roles include Sesshomaru in Inuyasha, Ban in The Seven Deadly Sins, Roronoa Zoro in One Piece, Akitaru Obi in Fire Force, and Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen. He has also participated in multiple Pokémon series, lending his voice to characters like Steven Stone, Professor Birch, and various roles in Pokémon Advance and Pokémon Evolutions.

Beyond anime, his work includes voicing Po in Kung Fu Panda: The Legend of Po, Bumblebee in the Transformers franchise, and the character Sonriente in Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. In addition to acting, Basurto works as a voice director and has an extensive career as a commercial and institutional locutor, having been the voice for brands such as Nescafé and Quaker State in Mexico. His talent was recognized in 2004 when he received a Premio Bravo for Best Dubbing Actor.
