Miho Arakawa is a Japanese voice actress and registered nurse affiliated with Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society. She was born on December 4, 1987, in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Arakawa is a graduate of the 36th class of the Haikyo Voice Actors Studio and began her professional career in 2010. She holds a valid nursing license and, for a period after her debut, balanced her voice acting work with her duties as a hospital nurse.

Her career was significantly shaped by director Kunihiko Ikuhara, who cast her in the lead role of Himari Takakura in the 2011 television series Mawaru Penguindrum (known in English as Penguindrum). This performance served as her debut in a main role and brought her widespread recognition. She continued to work with Ikuhara on subsequent projects, lending her voice to the character Ginko Yurishiro in Yurikuma Arashi and later reprising her role as Himari Takakura for the 2022 Re:cycle of Penguindrum theatrical compilation films. This trio of roles in the director's original anime series represents a notable and recurring collaboration.

Another significant and long-running role for Arakawa is that of Sonia Nevermind in the Danganronpa franchise. She first voiced the character in the 2012 video game Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. She subsequently reprised the role for the animated adaptations, including the original video animation Super Danganronpa 2.5: Komaeda Nagito and the Destroyer of the World and the television series Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak High School.

Her filmography includes a diverse range of other anime roles. In the Digimon franchise, she voiced Meiko Mochizuki across multiple installments of the Digimon Adventure tri. film series. In the television series Battle Spirits Burning Soul, she played Ichi "Oichi" Tenma. Her other credits from the 2010s include roles such as Tsunomi Kabutohara in Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil, Katō in Straight Title Robot Anime, Naruko Aoba in Magica Wars, Sumireko Hanabusa in Riddle Story of Devil, Manami Okuda in the Ansatsu Kyōshitsu (Assassination Classroom) OVA, and the role of Hina's Mother in Omoi no Kakera. In the 2018 animated film TIME DRIVER: Bokura ga Kaita Mirai, she provided the voices for both Ai Minami and Chibi Ai.

Beyond anime, Arakawa has an extensive body of work in video games. In addition to her iconic role in the Danganronpa series, her game credits include characters in long-running and popular titles such as the role of锡兰 (Ceylan) in the mobile game Arknights and希葛伦 (Sigrun) in Fire Emblem Heroes. She has also been active in radio, hosting programs like Radio Dot I: Miho Arakawa’s Little Events and co-hosting Hamiraji!! with fellow voice actors Yuka Otsubo and Nozomi Yamamoto for several years. Arakawa has also contributed to the music side of the industry, performing character songs for series such as Mawaru Penguindrum and participating in albums related to her shows.
